Hotels Edinburgh
Hotels--Edinburgh has a huge selection
of places to stay.
Most of our hotels in Edinburgh are
concentrated in the
Georgian
New Town and the West End, particularly around Princes
St, Calton Hill and the streets near Haymarket Station.
There are also hundreds of guest houses and B&Bs all
over the city. The deals out of season can be good
value,
but during the festival
season hotels are full and finding accommodation can
seem sysiphean.
If you arrive in Edinburgh without a reservation, particularly during
the festival, or at Hogmanay, the chances are you wont find a room anywhere
near the centre. It pays to book well in advance. |
New Town Edinburgh
This is our choice of hotels, guesthouses
and accommodation in Edinburgh's Georgian New Town. This is
the most beautiful area of the city and well worth paying for. New

Old Town Edinburgh
The mediaeval Old Town is noisier and more
fun than the New Town. Some of the mot stylish new hotels have
opened here in the past couple fo years. Old

Leith
Leith is the old port of Edinburgh. It still
retains much of its maritime flavour, complete with prostitutes,
crime and the tang of sea salt. The hotels are pretty smart
and the food really excellent. Leith

West End
This is the business end of Edinburgh. There
are some lovely boutique hotels as well as global chain hotels.

South Side
The forgotten quartier of town. Much less
glamorous and city-like. However the guest houses are large
and it is an easy walk into town. Hotels
